Held Hostage By Apathy
We needed to build a micro-site that would receive traffic from print ads and other media outlets. We integrated twitter, facebook, and a voting component to help engage users in the process. The voting component was done via flash which allowed for smooth animations and database logging of all votes. When a user choose to donate to the cause the donation bar status would update to show totals.
Overall, this site exceeded the fundraising goals ($25K) and achieved engaging users through social media.
